Been a super busy month so far. I decided to start a new sculpt - Kaelin by Denise Pratt. She is TINY and when finished she will be 16" long.
My Lilly sculpt has been put to the side. She was in the middle of rooting but was having a hard time. It is either the mohair I am using or the vinyl. Getting the hair to stay in the head has been the issue. Instead of getting completely frustrated I have put her in a safe place.
When not reborning Kaelin, I am working on my other business that is booming right now. I sew dog coats, scarves and leg warmers. Like I said it has been a very busy month.
So here is little Kaelin as a WIP (Work In Progress) She is far from finished. These pictures were taken in natural light. We actually had beautiful sunshine pouring into the windows and I took advantage of the rays. Today not so lucky.

Reborn Baby Adriana Makeover -- Lilly Sculpt by Denise Pratt
Been super busy and was able to fit in a complete makeover for my little Adriana, who is the Lilly sculpt by Denise Pratt. She was my very first reborn. If you read my very first post to this blog about her and all the troubles I had. The Post can be found here
She was completely stripped of the air dry paints and hair was removed. She has now been done with Genesis Heat Set Paints and will be hand rooted with a much nicer mohair that is blonde, not orange.
The pictures show she is almost completed with the painting process. Fingernails, toenails, eyebrows and sealer. Then the rooting process will begin. I look forward to doing the nails, the dreaded eyebrows are the pain. lol I have been able to pretty much master everything involved with reborning except the little barely there eyebrows that you see on actual newborns. Sigh, Challenge. I can draw the most perfect eyebrows on paper with a pencil but when you have to use the paintbrush and paint on something that is 3-d instead of flat YIKES!!!! With the other babies that you see on this blog again the eyebrows were my downfall. I would spend at least 4-6 hours just getting the little lines to come out looking like eyebrows.
